“Let us commit ourselves and one another and our whole life to Christ our God”

Nothing we have is our own. Everything we have comes from God. As Christian stewards, we are given the chance to put a portion of our God-given time, abilities and money to good use – in the building-up of Christ’s Church.

True Stewardship involves two principles. First, that our giving level is commensurate to our abilities and income. Second, that we give in thanksgiving for these blessings.

The Old Testament gave the tithe – 10% of income – as the standard. The New Commandment teaches that all things be done out of love and not under law. So consider what you spend on clothes, vacations, pets, dining out, entertainment, and so on. Then consider – is what you give towards God’s sacred work comparable to what you spend on luxuries?

Please make you pledge of support to Christ and His Church while keeping in mind His bountiful goodness and your love for Him and His teachings. Please completely fill out both sides of the enclosed pledge card and mail to the church office A.S.A.P.
