Why: To Inspire, Encourage, and Nurture Our Christian Faith and Our Spiritual Lives
Our Book Club is here to:
Inspire, encourage, and nurture our parish faithful to accept the challenge to grow into the likeness of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through spiritually challenging readings we will discuss what it means to be a Christian, what it takes to progress in our pilgrimage toward the Kingdom of Heaven, and what it looks like to live a life transfigured by the Love and Grace of our Risen God. Books are selected from the Lives of the Saints, the writings of the Church Fathers, as well as modern works of theology and inspiration. We pay close attention to selecting books that are accessible to everyone but which offer profound insight into the Mystery of our Life in Christ.
