The Gift of Love
Pretty in Pink Foundation As women, we are concerned about breast cancer and probably know someone in our lives that has been touched by this dreaded disease. Pretty in Pink Foundation (PIPF) provides financial assistance to uninsured and underinsured breast cancer patients with quality, life-saving medical treatment regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. PIPF, a not-for-profit organization is local in our area, but looks to expand to all counties in North Carolina. Holy Trinity Agape Chapter will again donate 10% of the net proceeds from our annual Preorder Bake Sale and Holiday Café to this very worthy cause. This article appeared in PIPF’s 2011 summer issue newsletter, “Heart of the Matter.” Submitted by Agape Chapter 5026 Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Raleigh, NC 27612 Ladies Philoptochos Outreach
